Programmes for the over-sixteens

The Aarhus Symphony Orchestra co-operates with the FE Colleges of the region on programmes comprising concerts at the concert hall and an introduction by an "orchestra pilot" at the school. The "orchestra pilot" is an orchestral musician who will give an introduction to the concert and tell the students about his or her instrument, the life of a musician etc.

In addition to the concerts, the students are offered to attend a number of dress rehearsals (10-12 rehearsals per season) - preceded by an introduction about the orchestra and the music.

The Aarhus Symphony Orchestra provides educational material, which is updated every year, comprising the most recent information about the orchestra as well as articles and videos.
